As Account Director, you will act as the senior point-of-contact for some of our key national and global clients, providing strategic oversight and leadership across a range of communications programmes. Your role will be critical in managing client relationships, developing new business, and ensuring the delivery of successful reputation outcomes. You will work with a team of dedicated communications professionals, fostering their development while ensuring our values and high service standards are upheld.

This is a hybrid role with three days per week in the office in Dublin City Centre.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for client accounts, managing and enhancing client services.

Oversee the development and execution of campaigns from inception to delivery, ensuring strategic alignment, fresh thinking and creativity.

Analyse campaign outcomes, presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of professionals, identifying training needs and fostering talent development.

Drive new business development and cultivate existing client relationships to support growth.

Develop and maintain a robust network, building relationships with key contacts, influencers, and industry spokespeople.

Provide strategic counsel to clients, offering solutions in crisis management and leveraging networking opportunities for business growth.

Contribute to our strategic direction, working alongside other leaders in the business.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Proven leadership and management experience in a corporate communications environment.

Have an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset, identifying new growth opportunities and working with the wider team to win new business.

Experience managing multiple budget lines including any and all finance administration required, as well as experience in budget planning, forecasting and managing KPIs in relation to financial goals on individual accounts.

Extensive industry experience, ideally within the pharma and technology sectors, and a solid network of contacts.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, on time and to a high standard, demonstrating exceptional organisational and planning capabilities.

Adept at crisis management and strategic counsel.

International experience and understanding of different cultures.
