With polls indicating that the EU referendum –one of the biggest agenda items for British business in 2016 --is on a knife edge, many firms are now actively planning for the prospect of Brexit.
Post-the May 5 London, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish elections, you are invited to an interactive workshop to explore best practice in public and corporate affairs Brexit planning. The event will look both at decision-making and preparation pre-June 23, and also in the potentially frenzied days and weeks after the referendum, given that there could be significant change on the horizon even if the ‘remain campaign’ ultimately wins out.
A seasoned panel of experts will include Edward Bickham, former Head of Global External Affairs at Anglo American, and Special Adviser to the UK Foreign Secretary, and Jonathan Chandler, Partner at ReputationInc, and The Coca-Cola Company’s ex-Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Europe, Eurasia and Middle East.
In this highly uncertain economic and political moment, part of the workshop will explore best-in-class toolkits that corporate decision-makers (whether public/corporate affairs specialists, strategists, or C-Suite executives etc) are using to plan ahead and mitigate risk and seize potential opportunity on the horizon in the pre and post-Brexit referendum landscape, including from a potential change of UK prime minister.
Breakfast will be served from 8:00am for an 8:30am start and the event will end no later than 10:30am, depending upon the amount of questions and answers from participants.
Speakers include, Edward Bickham, former Head of Global External Affairs at Anglo American, and Jonathan Chandler, The Coca-Cola Company’s ex-Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Europe, Eurasia and Middle East
