Cathy Byrne is a highly accomplished reputation management and strategic communications professional with over 20 years consultancy and in-house experience across the private and public sectors. Her consultancy experience includes six years at the world’s largest independent public relations company, a director’s role with a specialist social change communications consultancy in London and time at a specialist public affairs agency. She is a former consultant with ReputationInc (2005-2009) and rejoined the team in January 2015.
Cathy’s in-house experience includes Head of Communication roles at: the Lawn Tennis Association, the National Governing Body for tennis in Great Britain; the Children and Family Court Support Service, a National Departmental Public Body working with children and families in the courts and the Head of Campaigns role on public service reform at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI).
Cathy has just completed a Masters course in Business Coaching and Mentoring (certified by the Institute of Leadership and Management). She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the PR Guild and Toastmasters International, a global communications and leadership organisation.
In her spare time Cathy is a mentor for Global Skills Project, a voluntary organisation that helps young people develop their employment skills. She also enjoys pounding the streets of London and singing her heart out with her choir.
